The Power Of Astaghfar-Astaghfirullah (I Seek Forgiveness Of Allah)

Astaghfar means to seek Allah’s forgiveness. It is a plea that a Muslim makes to Allah to give him the strength and perseverance to stay away from sins.

Sins by nature are very tempting and alluring. Forces of the devil are also at work to deviate a Muslim from the Guided Path. Hence the power of Astaghfar is crucial to strengthen self-control.

One of the greatest qualities of Allah is that He is the Most Merciful. He loves when His believers plead for his forgiveness and vow not to repeat the sins.

By reciting Astaghfar you not only plead to Allah to forgive all your previous sins, but you also save yourself from committing sins in the future. Hence you save yourself from ghastly punishment after death.

Allah has promised to deal with utmost compassion with those who plead for forgiveness. You earn Heaven for yourself by reciting Astaghfar. Such is the massive power of Astaghfar.

Astaghfar is a beautiful way to improve yourself. It cleanses your soul and makes you a better individual. You become more compassionate towards Allah’s creations.

Allah rewards those immensely who are good towards Allah’s creatures. Not just that, you stay away from committing sins such as backbiting, jealousy and plotting against people.

Such a person not only does well to himself but also benefits people around him. Doing good once multiplies and brings benefits in a lot of greater magnitude. A society of God-fearing people is bound to prosper and succeed.
