3 Names of Hajj
1. Hajj-e-Tammatu
It entails performing on the day of Tarwiyah ‘Umrah amid the Hajj Day’. Pilgrims making intention for this type of Hajj should make Niyah for Umrah when near to Miqat and should utter these words:
“O Allah! I answer Your call to perform `Umrah.”
The pilgrim can add some other dua such as:
“ O Allah! I intend to perform `Umrah, so make it easy for me, and accept it from me.”
If the pilgrim expects a condition of any infection or conditions that couldn’t the complete the Hajj Umrah then he should address Allah while exiting the state of Ihram:
“ I will end up my state of Ihram wherever I cannot proceed.”
2. Hajj-e-Qiran
This Hajj combines Hajj and Umrah together. In this, the pilgrim makes the intention of performing both ‘Hajj Umrah’ and all the ceremonies get combined:
“O Allah! I answer Your call to perform Hajj and ‘Umrah!”
Pilgrim will not change his Ihram after Umrah-e-Qiran and will execute Hajj with the same Ihram.
3. Hajj-e-Ifrad
Pilgrim who is inclined to perform this is called “Mufrid”. One enters in the state of Ihram before crossing Miqaat with the intention of performing Hajj alone. Hajj-e-Ifrad is only allowed for the residents of Makkah and Jeddah.

Umrah is equally holiest as to Hajj pilgrimage and is called as a lesser Hajj but the submission is the same towards Allah in the form of “Hajj Umrah”. The package can be booked anytime for this rewardful trip whenever amid the entire year. For our Prophet (P.B.U.H) performing Umrah was the most delightful deed. He said:
“Umrah is the atonement of all sins”
2. Al-Umrah-Al-Mufradah
This Umrah can be performed anytime as it is independent of Hajj and considered to a ‘single’
3. Umrah-Al-Tammatu
This Umrah is performed with the combination of Hajj in the Islamic month of Dhul-Hijjah. It depicts the congregation Muslim unity and a part of the fullest enjoyment for pilgrims. The rituals of Umrah are performed first leading to the rituals of Hajj.
Hajj Umrah is performed on the specific dates of the Islamic year according to the lunar calendar. It includes the sacred range of rituals from wearing Ihram to perform Tawaf-e-Kaaba and Sa’I between Safa and Marwa. It further promotes the goodwill and feeling of spirituality among Muslims.
